What it can see, and what it can’t
The connection is read-only and securely connected via authentication with Tento.

- How you compare with similar Tento businesses
- Your business profile, EIN included
- Where each financing application stands
- Your monitoring alerts, and whether monitoring is active, free or paused
- Which businesses are on your account, and whether each has a score yet
It never gets
- Bank accounts or cash-flow data
- Financing offers, or the reasons behind a decision
- Your SSN, or anyone’s personal credit
- Your card or billing details
- Your Tento password
Connect in ChatGPT
ChatGPT has no one-click link yet, so this takes about a minute by hand. As of November 2026, custom servers need a ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, or a Pro account for read-only tools.

Copy the Tento server address

Open ChatGPT’s plugin settings
Settings, then Plugins. Press the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server.
Open ChatGPT -
Paste the address and create the plugin
Name it Tento, paste the address under Connection, pick OAuth for authentication, acknowledge the risk notice, then press Create as a plugin.

Sign in and ask
Sign in with your Tento login when asked. In a new chat, type @Tento and ask about your score.
On Claude, custom connectors are available on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise your workspace owner may need to add it first. On ChatGPT, custom servers are currently limited to Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, plus Pro accounts for read-only tools, so Plus and Free plans can’t add Tento yet.
No. It reads the same score, report details, alerts and insights your Tento account already includes. If your monitoring is paused, the assistant says so and can tell you when your free period ends, instead of guessing.
No. The connection is read-only. It can’t apply for financing, edit your business details, change your plan or send anything on your behalf.
Where it stands, for example in review, approved, funded or declined, with the amount and dates. It never sees the reasons behind a decision, the offers, or anyone’s personal credit.
So you can ask for it without digging through paperwork. It’s your own business’s number, shown only to you after you sign in, and only when you ask. Your SSN is never available.
The same one you use for your Tento dashboard at volt.tento.com. The assistant never sees your password: you sign in on Tento’s own login page and it receives a token that only covers your business credit data.
Remove Tento from your assistant’s connector settings. Access ends immediately, and nothing changes in your Tento account.
